More than a few Conan stories (and many other characters' stories) have involved the unexpected discovery of a set of mysterious ruins...Jack Badelairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10932441028544500024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-23236004477778383822010-06-17T04:50:19.829-07:002010-06-17T04:50:19.829-07:00Thanks for that link, Ragnardbard! Thanks for that link, Ragnardbard!Alhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01682401446176099294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-15596687802746005782010-06-16T16:05:56.426-07:002010-06-16T16:05:56.426-07:00As a Wilderlands fan, for starters, I love this po...As a Wilderlands fan, for starters, I love this post. This to me is EXACTLY the approach to take with the Relics & Ruins table, and one which will encourage me to rethink the way I run adventures in that setting. Thanks very much! Your approach, a neatly balanced mix of off the cuff randomisation and lucid forethought, is inspirational. Haven't felt this excited since I saw the Adventure Funnel.. . Players will remember about the interesting ones and pursue them, and leave out the least interesting. Evolutionary RPGs for the win ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-9262301667349584172010-06-16T06:41:20.815-07:002010-06-16T06:41:20.815-07:00Sort of a formula for winging it.
