That's all I got that year. A whole, whole bunch of Micronauts. They quickly became my favorite toys and now I'm wondering "what the hell happened to my Micronauts?"Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08192212467523179768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-85580258436361460122011-03-14T15:26:56.397-07:002011-03-14T15:26:56.397-07:00That. What an ass! Even as a jaded grown up I still strongly recommend the first 12 issues of the Marvel comic, beautifully illustrated by Michael Golden. Even with the intrusion of Marvel universe characters into the mix, this stuff still shines as cosmically charged (micro-)space opera.jasonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01547485448319713658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-71366281799100967452011-03-14T12:20:39.025-07:002011-03-14T12:20:39.025-07:00You beat me to it! I totally had these on my list to blog about after they came up at one of our RPG sessions a few weeks ago.

We had a big Micronauts vs. Star Wars figures vs. Lego argument. I was the voice of reason - "Can't we all just get along?"

But I had totally forgotten about them until they came up during that game. Never read the comics but I played with the toys all the time.

Thanks!Martin R. I purchased some old, beat up toys from e-bay along with the newer versions that where released a few years back. IIRC, I had to scavenge parts from several damaged time travelers to cobble together one or two whole figures. And my poor space glider - he just fell right to bits. (Unfortunately, he was held together by rivets, not screws like the plastic figures were. There was no resurrecting him...)

Thanks for the nostalgia! :DChristopher Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17368794259249607299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-13543021297087561192011-03-14T09:23:33.939-07:002011-03-14T09:23:33.939-07:00I miss my micronauts! :_(I miss my micronauts! :_(ze bulettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15603716850479808633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-80327749015182248722011-03-14T09:04:05.501-07:002011-03-14T09:04:05.501-07:00My friends and I were crazy for those damn things....My friends and I were crazy for those damn things. My brother always used the good guys (Force Commander, etc) and I always used the bad guys (Baron Karza, et al). Boy, those things were FUN - and truly ahead of their time. I mean, they blew my mind as a kid.Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04132556436493370782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-1803205998322368842011-03-14T08:56:09.293-07:002011-03-14T08:56:09.293-07:00Al,
