The mutation lists are so close to identical that the only differences I could spot on a (very brief) comparison was the time travel mutation (which was pretty damn rare in Gamma World anyway), and while there are some mechanical differences because Mutant Future is based on the Labyrinth Lord (and by extension B/X D&D) ruleset, that hardly disqualifies it from being old school. <br /><br />I guess I would agree that it is a great new game, but I would go further and say that it is a great old-school new game. If that makes any sense.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07648499022366444265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-70569732763915010942009-09-14T11:53:12.065-07:002009-09-14T11:53:12.065-07:00+1+1Timeshadowshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09952601433965644275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-30488475782891222862009-09-14T11:45:17.293-07:002009-09-14T11:45:17.293-07:00I think OOP and OSR go hand in handI think OOP and OSR go hand in handAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09765359539720428767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3094937232522894470.post-44889508879403455352009-09-14T11:37:11.422-07:002009-09-14T11:37:11.422-07:00I disagree with a lot of what Gnarley Bones was sa...I disagree with a lot of what Gnarley Bones was saying, but this point: <i>"Rather, they are a reflection of the return to old school gaming.
