Great anime series, first of all.. although each robot belongs to a different universe, except three (Mazinger Z, Grendizer and Great Mazinger.. also Getter Robot, in some way).
When I was a kid, I had the giant Mazinga, Dragun, and Godzilla. That Godzilla fist could do some real damage! My mother gave them all to the local church for their daycare. :(
I still have the die-cast Mazinga, Dragaun, and Gaiking though.
Freaking awesome! I had the whole series of the Marvel Comics. I also just recently tried to "win" two Shogun Warriors models in an estate auction. Obviously some other people knew of their value and skyrocketing the bids on them.
I've got a bunch of those comics somewhere. I have fond memories of them.

ReplyDeleteI still have my Maziner and Gaiking figures but I wish I still had Godzilla and Raideen from that series. The comics were great too!

I had totally forgotten about these, but looking at them gave me a rush of sense memories.
ReplyDeleteMazinga was my favorite Christmas present of all time. I eventually ripped off his hand and just used it as a dart thrower. :)
