Happy Holidays - Compendium 2011


Happy Holidays everyone!

Be sure to grab your free copy of Beyond the Black Gate Compendium 2011.

    This is awesome! Nothing like free, fun & useful all in one package. I really like the What's in That Hole, which is a really fun d100 chart! I also like the Musketeer; and the Apocalypse Riddle is a fun adventure.

    The random magic weapon chart is cool too, especially for DM's (like me) who don't like to use "+1 Swords," but want something different! But my only comment on that is that it seems weird to use 3d12 to generate the weapon type. That gives a pretty wild curve. For example, you need to generate a "3" on 3d12 to get a Longsword. Which means 1 chance in 1,728 of getting a magic longsword. No biggie though. I'll just convert it to a straight roll of some kind.

    Anyhoo - didn't mean to be nitpicky about that one item. This is a great product and much kudos for sharing this.
