Would it be over-dramatic to call McQuarrie a "Visionary who defined a generation"? I don't think so.
As a matter of fact, I think next time Lucas feels like "updating" his films again, Ralph should be standing with the other "ghostly" jedi masters at the end of RotJ. What do you think?
Definitely not over dramatic. When I last moved I discovered that I still have the Star Wars and Empire print collections that were published back in the day - I remembered I had them as a kid but thought I had traded them away. lol! Just a couple weekends ago I was showing them to a friend and we both agreed how truly cool and inspiring the artwork was.
No. Not over-dramatic at all. There were others, but for mass appeal, I wouldn't consider your assertion to be over-the-top whatsoever.

ReplyDeleteI had a collection of ESB prints of many of these imagages as a kid. I don't know what happened to them, but they sure were cool.
