The Monsterless Manual gives you short stats for more than 200 humans, from Academic to Wench, for use with your old-school fantasy rpg. Also includes an exhaustive random personality generator. Be sure to print out "little booklet" style for maximum utility and old-school effect.
Let me know what you think!
Pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to do a Folks Folio someday.
I couldn't find stats for flagellants, pilgrims or prophets ;-)
Bathroom attendants are on the list for that, too!
ReplyDeletePretty neat, but the hit point totals seem to be mainly for post-Supplement 1 games. In Swords & Wizardry: Whitebox, for instance, a 4th level fighter has 4D6 of hit points, for an average of 14 hit points, compared to the 21-25 given similar level fighters in the Monsterless Manual. Still, that's a minor complaint at best, as the whole thing seems like it would be very useful.
ReplyDeleteVery nice sir!
ReplyDeleteAs I was flipping through it I though it'd be great if there was a chart for personalities as well and 'lo there was!
Good job!
Yes, indeed, very useful! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteScariest Monster Manual ever. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, that wasn't a joke. IMO Humans are the scariest things going.
MAHVELOUS, it looks simply MAHVELOUS!
ReplyDeleteCiao!
GW
Great idea!
ReplyDeleteNeato. Tooked.
ReplyDeleteNot bad at all...could use "knight, robber," "ratcatcher," "pot boy," and "lamp lighter," as well as "beggar, pickpocket" (aka gypsy). And what...no town crier?
ReplyDeleteOh...and where's the random table?

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, and an excellent execution to boot. You had me at digest format though.
ReplyDeleteVery good!
ReplyDeleteOkay, well, we need a superhero for all superheroes -- Bicycle Repairman! :D
ReplyDeleteAre you looking for suggestions on other types that could be in there?
ReplyDeleteIf so - witch.
Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'd have used a multi-column layout for the last few pages with the table.
Very nice, Al. Well done (once again).
ReplyDeleteGreat play aid for quick casting calls!
ReplyDeleteExcellent job!
