Planet of the Vampires

Not just a surprisingly entertaining movie, but features, without a doubt, the coolest space-outfits ever. If NASA had fashion sense like this, the shuttle program would never have been cancelled.

  1. Agree on the outfits, though it sort of negates the concept of "casual Fridays". Also, kinda' looks itchy.

  2. I love the visual style of this movie. It reminds me a lot of "Forbidden Planet". The scenes of the dead crewmen rising from their graves and tearing out of their clear plastic body bags really creeped me out as a kid. The scene in the derelict alien ship, with the giant skeletons, is another fave.

  3. "An eye-stopping thrill-shocker!" Eye-stopping? I don't even know what that means but I don't like the sound of it. "Aargh! My eyes have stopped! Please, somebody, restart my eyes!"

  4. @Leo Knight - I've heard rumors this movie was a big inspiration for the original Ridley Scott Alien.

  5. "If there are any intelligent beings on this planet, they're our enemies."

And thus was our State Department born.
